The Corporate Race Licence

Ever dreamt of becoming a racing driver? Well now's the chance to earn your stripes with Silverstone's unique new Race Licence Day, taking you and your colleagues from zero to hero in just one day guided by some of the UK's top driving instructors - you will also get to compete in your first ever race at the end of it all!

The "Race Day" experience sees up to 20 drivers don the L-plate's once again, and undergo intensive driver tuition and tests, to earn a National B Competition Licence approved by the sports governing body, the MSA (Motor Sports Association), at the same time highlighting the importance of learning, ambition and achieving goals.

Silverstone is the home of British Motor Racing and home to one of the country's leading Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) so attendees will be prepared for their first ever competitive race by drivers who know what it takes to become a success on the track.

"We're taking the drive experience up a level," says Chris Ward, Chief Driving Instructor at Silverstone. "This is a unique day of learning and earning the right to pull on the helmet and gloves for your first ever competitive race. One thing is for sure...you'll be hooked on motorsport afterwards."

The cost of a place on the race day experience is £599 plus VAT per person.

The Silverstone Challenge

Very few F1™ circuits anywhere in the world are equipped to allow you to drive a Grand Prix Lap. We can because we've invested in creating the ultimate driving event, the team-building and relationship-enhancing Silverstone Challenge.

The day begins at 08:00 with registration in the British Racing Drivers' Club, the touchstone of British motor sport.

Breakfast is followed by a short and entertaining briefing session. Then it's time to hit the track with a break for a two course buffet lunch in the VIP suite of the British Racing Drivers' Club and then back out on track.

By the end of the day, you and your guests will have had 12 different driving experiences. Unlike any other driving event, the Silverstone Challenge gives you and your guests the opportunity to drive the full Silverstone Grand Prix circuit in Porsches, Ferraris and Lotus'. Finally after the chequered flag has fallen, there will be prizes and a presentation ceremony.
