The 1000Km of Silverstone returns with it's headline grabbing season-ending slot. 2008 saw Audi steal the championship out from under Peugeot's (carbonfibre) noses.
Whats going to happen in 2009?
The 24 Hours of Le Mans technical regulations distinguish two major car families: "Prototype" and "Grand Touring", each of them being split into two parts. Every category fights very hard for the victory in class - meaning the title will normally go down to the wire at the Silverstone 1000Km in September.
In 2008 it was Audi's day despite coming in to the race on the back of a 4 race winning streak for Peugeot. Consistency was key as the (faster) Peugeots all hit problems whilst the 'junior' Audi had been the points scorer all year long and finally ran off with the Le Mans Series title.
Paddock Suites

A fantastic way of getting closer to the action than any other facility at Silverstone. You will be located at the start of the pit lane - right by the speed limit line!
Our paddock suites are available for exclusive hire (30 guests per suite) or on a shared basis (minimum booking 2 guests).

This is a prime location with the cars passing just feet away from the terrace. These private paddock suites run more informally, like a 'club' than a marquee, with less internal space but a lot more viewing and atmosphere. Wet days can be a challenge as the terrace is nearly as big as the suite!
